Jessica's Rubber - Roof

This flat roof project in West Bend required a full-system rebuild due to extensive water damage hidden beneath the existing EPDM. Once the old membrane was removed, we uncovered deteriorated fiberboard and sections of rotted wood, along with an older layer of metal roofing that had trapped moisture over time. To ensure long-term performance, we removed every compromised layer down to the structural decking and replaced all damaged wood.

With the deck restored, we installed a new tapered poly-iso insulation system to promote proper drainage away from the parapet walls and into the gutters. This corrected the standing-water issues that contributed to the original roof’s failure. After securing the insulation, we chemically adhered a .060mm black EPDM membrane, creating a smooth, continuous, and watertight surface.

The finished system provides reliable water management, improved energy efficiency, and a solid foundation for years of performance—reflecting the level of care and precision we bring to every low-slope roofing project.
