For this roof replacement, we started by tearing off the old, worn shingles and exposing the original cedar planks. To create a solid foundation, we installed OSB sheathing over the cedar planks, ensuring nails would securely hold by eliminating the risk of landing in the gaps. We then applied Ice & Water shield and synthetic felt for superior protection against the elements. Topping it off, we used Owens Corning Duration Shingles for a durable and stylish finish.
